What Is Concierge
Concierge is a built-in AI assistant in your QUI Core dashboard. It lives in the Chat tab and helps you navigate the system, answer questions about features, troubleshoot issues, and run diagnostic commands on your machine.
How Concierge Differs from Characters
Concierge is not a character you build in Qui Anima. It's a platform-level assistant managed by the system administrator:

What Concierge Can Do
- Answer questions about QUI features, dashboard tabs, billing, trust scores, and services
- Explain concepts — how memory works, what trust scores mean, how to install apps
- Troubleshoot issues — check if services are running, diagnose connection problems
- Execute terminal commands — inspect system state, check logs, query service health (when terminal access is enabled)
- Remember past conversations — retrieves relevant context from your previous interactions
What Concierge Cannot Do
- Start or stop services — Concierge can check if a service is running but cannot restart it. It will tell you the exact command to run yourself.
- Add funds — billing actions require you to use the Billing tab
- Modify system files — Concierge won't edit configuration files directly
- Install packages — system-level package installation is out of scope
When Concierge can't fix something directly, it explains what the issue is and gives you the steps to resolve it yourself.
Cost
Concierge uses the same billing system as your characters. Each message costs tokens based on the model the administrator has configured. The cost appears in your usage reports under the Concierge app.
If you have no balance, Concierge won't be able to respond — add funds in the Billing tab.
